Dear Everyone,
Here is the bulletin for May. The building work is nearly complete!
May is always a quieter month at George Spencer as students are preparing for exams and then the exams begin.
At out next Parents’ Forum we will be doing our review of the year and planning our meetings for next year. Please can you fill in the following online questionnaire to guide our decisions. Here is the link
A number of parents have been asking about shoes for P.E. It is a simple rule - students need to bring a pair of trainers for P.E and once the Sports Hall is open these must have non marking soles. They cannot wear their normal school shoes for P.E.
As you are all aware the tram works is causing a large amount of disruption at the moment around the entrance to school. Please can you reiterate to your children the importance of following the signs to ensure everyone keeps safe.
We are currently campaigning with the community for a crossing on Toton Lane. If you would like to sign our petition a copy is found in Upper Site Reception. Alternatively you can e-mail to say you wish to support the campaign.
