2019 in Review

In 2019 we are proud to say that 89 visits out of school have occurred so far and 12286 students have had the opportunity to take part. A total of 909 students have had the opportunity to go abroad. More local visits range from Devon to Nottingham. Students involved range from Y7 – Y13. Most of Y7 successfully attended the team building event at Walesby which has replaced the residential camp at the end of the year. The weather was good and students enjoyed the team building and bonding in their tutor groups. 4 students had the opportunity to represent our school at the Ex Jerboa shared Heritage remembrance event which was organised by the Army. They were a credit to the school. During the rest of the year we have trips going to Italy for the Ski trip, all of Y7 will be going to Warwick Castle for their Social Sciences challenge day and the Geographers will be going to Romania and Moldova. Y8 will get the opportunity to go to France (the Loire trip), Y9 to Club Corezze and Y12 will be visiting Cern. We also have a group going out to Tanzania to name but a few. We would like to thank our dedicated staff for going the extra mile and offering these fantastic opportunities.
