At George Spencer Academy we are celebrating the hard work, resilience and dedication that has led to the continuing success of our Post 16 students. They have once again achieved excellent results that have enabled them to go to university, apprenticeship or employment. The resilience our students have shown during their education is remarkable. The achievements at George Spencer Academy includes many exceptional individual performances with a significant number of students achieving three or more grade A*/A results at A Level or D* in vocational courses. Alongside students who have removed many barriers this year to successfully move on to their future pathway.
Jules Gordon, Vice Principal responsible for Sixth Form provision commented, “This cohort of students has not been able to sit public exams until this point in their education. These results are a reflection of their fantastic commitment and the high-quality teaching they have received. Our students are all exceptional, inspiring, and talented young people and we couldn’t be prouder of them.”
Helen Corbett, Principal stated, “We would like to thank our students, staff and families for what has been an exemplary team effort. The excellent results reflect their dedication and the wrap around curriculum we provide all students at George Spencer Academy. We are extremely proud of the students’ positive attitude and continued love of learning. We would also like to wish all our students every success as they move onto the next chapter of their lives.”
Students leave their legacy at George Spencer Academy by attaching their signed lock as part of our annual tradition as students move onto their future pathways.
