There are a number of fundraising events taking place this month, please read on to find out what’s happening across the school and within each year group.

Whole School
Friday 10th December is Christmas Jumper Day for Save the Children. Students and staff can donate £1 on the gate and replace their school jumper for some festive knitwear. All other school uniform remains as normal, including blazers and lanyards.
Year 7
Students are taking part in the ‘Race to the North Pole’ Challenge for Young Lives versus Cancer, you can read more about their challenge here
The year group has also been collecting items for the Christmas Shoebox appeal for Sewa Day. The boxes will be distributed to vulnerable members of the Nottingham community. To read more about Sewa Day and the Shoebox appeal, please view the attached flyer.
Year 8 and Year 9
Students will be collecting books as part of the Children’s Book Project, which distributes books to children who don’t have regular access to reading material. The books need to be in good condition and suitable for children aged 3-11. Books will be collected by Learning Managers or can be given to Ms Hembrow, the deadline for collections is Thursday 16th December.

The books collected by students will be distributed by Lambley Primary school.
Year 10 and Year 11
In their form groups, students are collecting items for the Mayor’s Christmas Appeal for the local food banks in Nottingham. The deadline for collections is Thursday 16th December. If you would like to see which items the students will be collecting, please view the attached flyer
