Congratulations to our incredible Year 11 students at George Spencer Academy on their achievements in this year’s GCSE and Level 2 Vocational courses. After 2 years of hard work and committing themselves to their studies, they have reaped the rewards and are ready for the next stage of their learning journey.
As we reflect upon their time with us, we are filled with immense pride. The strength, resilience and fortitude demonstrated by these young people epitomise the core values and ethos of excellence of George Spencer Academy. It is qualities such as these which will take them far and we have no doubt that our students are moving on to bright and fulfilling futures.
We, as a school, are extremely proud of our students and the results they achieved above National average attainment in both English and maths and continued success in many of our other subjects.
There are so many students who have achieved outstanding results and individual success and we are extremely proud of them all. We are delighted that so many of our students will be returning to study a range of A level and BTEC qualifications with us in our sixth form and continue to be an integral part of the school community.
Our Year 11 pupils have been inspirational in terms of their hard-working attitude and resilience. They will be an asset to future employers as they have learnt to work hard and strive to be the best they can be. As well as achieving highly as a cohort, there have been many excellent individual performances with a significant number of students achieving their target grades in both their GCSEs and their vocational courses.
Helen Corbett, Principal stated, “We are extremely proud of our year 11 cohort. Our students have achieved excellent results which will open doors for them as they move onto the next stage of education.”
