Year 11 Pre-Public Examinations (PPE’s)

The second half term started with three weeks of PPEs for our Year 11 students. They were given a very real experience of how the exams will be in the Summer of 2020 and all of them responded with great maturity and positivity. With some subjects having two or three separate papers, there was a lot to be covered in revision and the lower site resource centre was busy morning, lunch and after school!

I was incredibly proud of how they approached the PPEs and as such, many students have hit and even exceeded target grades in numerous subjects. In the end of year rewards assembly, over 100 students were nominated and received certificates from a variety of staff which is phenomenal.

Well done Year 11, a great start to the year.  Have a wonderful rest, but keep up that revision!
