Year 6 Open Evening

Families of year 6 students who are looking at Secondary School places for September 2022 entry are invited to our open evening on Thursday 30th September 2021, 5pm – 8pm

This year we are pleased to be able to welcome guests back on-site and,  and we will be offering socially distanced presentations from the Principal, Senior Leadership Team and Director of Learning for the year group. The presentations will take place in our Sports Hall at 5.15pm, 6pm, 6.45pm and 7.30pm. You will need a ticket to attend one of the presentations and these will be available from the helpdesks on site. We will be operating a one way system with hand gel available on entry and exit to the Sports Hall. We request that attendees wear face masks during the presentation to support in keeping our school community safe and well.

There will also be the opportunity to tour the school site and speak to subject staff and pupils and to get a flavour of the types of activities your child will experience at George Spencer Academy.

Parking for this event is only available on the Lower Site (the entrance opposite the tram station) and we ask that visitors respect the local residents wishes and not park on the streets surrounding the school site.
