Tier 3 Guidance

In line with the latest guidance, face masks will be mandatory at George Spencer Academy from Monday 2^nd November. All students and staff must wear a face mask when moving around the site and in communal areas where social distancing is difficult to maintain e.g. at break and lunch times (not when sat down eating). We will expect all students to enter the school site wearing their masks on a daily basis from Monday. Government guidance continues to state that face masks are not necessary in classrooms. If your child is exempt from wearing a face mask for medical reasons please contact Miss Gordon, Vice Principal, with details.

Year 11 and 13 PPEs

The school has put in measures to maximise the safety of students during their Pre-Public Examinations (PPEs), however, if they feel more comfortable wearing a face mask during their exams they may do so.
