As a result, George Spencer Teaching School will be formally disbanded from 31st August. Spencer Teaching School will still work with partners across the region to provide:
- initial teacher training
- early career training and appropriate body support
- leadership training and development through the new suite of NPQs

The designation is an acknowledgment of all that our family of schools and wider network of partners have contributed towards and built over many years – we have shared values and a commitment to the school-led system which has allowed together to show demonstrable impact on pupils and teachers beyond our own schools gates. This is our next step together as our work formally starts with the launch in September 2021.
The Teaching School Hubs formally launch programmes in September 2021 and school leaders across the region are encouraged to sign up to communications, including our fortnightly bulletins – click here to register for this.
